Haussmann challenge positions students as planners designated by mayor X to rebuild their city. In this assignment, students were asked to make an urban structure on part of the city area that destroyed. Goals of this assignment is to understand the elements that formed urban structure by rebuilding parts of the city that were destroyed.
Students are assign to make an industrial estate planning as an integrated class practice. The goal is to understand the logic of site selection analysis as an industrial area designation. In this regard, students are expected to be able to implement theory in the course of location analysis theory, urban morphology, and geographic information systems.
Health issues become the most discussed issue during the COVID-19 pandemic era. This issue has changed the lives of many people around the world, especially in urban areas. How students as urban planners and urban designers respond to this issue become the challenge of this course. Cilincing become the site study of this course, this area is located in North Jakarta that has several challenging issues to solve with healthy issue. This class is divided into two groups that have different approaches and concepts to reinterpretation of healthy places in the neighborhood.
